I don't care much for covers of Beatles songs, not reaching up to the originals in any way, not adding anything noteworthy, often un-interesting etc etc. But then there's this.. It says a lot about both The Beatles and Joe Cocker that he is one of the very few that passes the audition.

The greatest recorded performance ever!!! After an hour singing in front of a crowd of that magnitude, in that particular context, I don’t believe it will be anything similar to this.
